It seems to me this must be on the Lake Superior shoreline northeast of Brighton Beach, but I've never seen it and couldn't be more specific.

Stony Point or Stoney Point?

Stony is the correct spelling of the word, unless you go by the Urban Dictionary, which offers definitions of "stoney" as "someone or something that possesses a laid back, hippie-esque quality," "a relaxed atmosphere, state or setting" or "the state of being somewhat stoned, but not a complete high."

I see a lot of references on the Internet to Stony Point and Stoney Point, so ... well ... what's the official spelling of the place? I'm putting my money on Stony.
