Mentor Duluth Music Fundraiser

An evening of live music, raffle prizes and much more. All proceeds from the fundraiser support Mentor Duluth's activities budget, which serves matches and waitlist youth throughout the year. Performances include two cover bands: Shantily Clad & The Low Hangin' Fruit at 7:30 p.m. followed by Tempted Fate at 8:45. They will be playing hits from the 60's to today. Raffle tickets ($5) will be sold throughout the month of March and at the event. $10 suggested donation.

Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction

The American Heritage Girls Troop MN3130 hosts a Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction fundraiser. Prices are $5 for children and $8 for adults, with a family cap of $30. American Heritage Girls is a non-profit ministry organization that offers girls ages 5-18 a Christian faith-based spiritual and character development program. All proceeds raised will fund service projects and fellowship opportunities for the troop. Mount of Olives Baptist Church, 1500 Swan Lake Rd., Duluth.

Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College presents an evening of wine and beer sampling, savory hors d'oeuvres, live music, raffles and a silent auction to benefit the WITC-Superior Campus Scholarship Fund. The event will be held in the WITC Superior Atrium. Last year the event enabled WITC to award $4,250 in additional scholarships.

UMD Outdoor Educators Club hosts the 19th annual Outdoor Gear Swap. Bring outdoor gear to sell during the drop-off times, and/or come to the sale in Sports and Health Center Room 135 on the UMD campus. Fifteen percent of the sale price is taken to promote outdoor education. Gear drop-off: Friday, March 31, from 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 1, from 8 to 9 a.m.

Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive 2017

United Way of Greater Duluth’s 22nd annual Day of Caring matches teams of community-minded volunteers with local nonprofit agencies in need of extra hands. Volunteers can tackle agency projects such as painting, planning activities for kids, collecting supplies, landscaping, light maintenance and many other opportunities.
