A two-day fundraiser to combat ALS. There are two divisions in this fundraising tournament: in-person participation on Island Lake or via a virtual entry on any lake. Both divisions are a catch/photograph/release format. The tournament formats and rules may be subject to change depending on local, state and federal guidelines. Participants must be registered with one of the two divisions and have raised the appropriate amount of money to participate and to be eligible for tournament prizes.

Walk for Animals is more than just a walk. There will be vendors and entertainment to enjoy. Food Trucks, balloon twisting, a 360 photo booth, ball drop, a caricature artist, vendors will be at the park. The St. Mary Star of the Sea Church is holding a fundraiser to help raise funds to repair the 117-year-old stained glass windows that decorate the church with a "Pie Social Fundraiser." This well-established art fair along the length of Duluth's Park Point has over one hundred juried artists exhibiting and selling fine arts and crafts including ceramics, photography, paintings, prints, metal, glass and wood sculpture, jewelry and fiber. Presented by the Park Point Community Club, the event proceeds support youth, environmental and civic projects in the community. Also: live music, food trucks and free art-making activities.
