Iditarod Trail Invitational: Send-off Party and Fundraiser for Leah Gruhn
A fundraiser to send fat-tire bicyclist Leah Gruhn to Alaska to race. Admission includes a variety of pizzas, salad and other treats. Silent and online auctions will be held. Donation items and baskets are welcome. Call Linda at 218-310-6838 for more.

Love Your Local Artist is our annual fundraiser that celebrates local art, local libraries, and community that includes tons of local art, live music, wine and refreshments. Plus, there will be our Tiny Art Show and a raffle featuring artwork donated by participating artists. All funds raised from the raffle and registration fees are used to support the library’s many programs and services throughout the year.
Find out more »Korkki Nordic Candlelight Ski Fundraiser
Korkii Nordic Center hosts a candlelight fundraiser where attendees can ski the 1.5 candlelit kilometer Dorothy loop, gather around a campfire, and eat soup and bread from The New Scenic Cafe. There will also be sample sweet treats from local bakeries. Dozens of raffle items including local pottery, photographic prints and a night's stay at Lutsen ski area. Proceeds from this event benefit the North Shore Community School Endowment Fund. Tickets are $25 per person, and $10 for children.

The Lyric Opera of the North presents an evening of food, music, friends, and fundraising at the Greysolon Ballroom. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and cash bar then a 6:30 p.m. dinner with music. Reservations must be made by Monday, February 6. On the shore of Lake Superior at Park Point, people jump into frigid water to benefit Special Olympics Minnesota athletes. This year is Duluth's 22nd Polar Plunge. The Duluth Plunge has raised over $2,558,554 in its 22-year history and in 2022, 575 Plungers raised $136,731! Plunge timeslots open approximately three days before the in-person plunge date.
