Veterans Remembrance Dinner 2026

The St. Louis County Historical Society and its Veterans Memorial Hall program host the 21st annual Veterans Remembrance Dinner in the Great Hall of the St. Louis County Depot. The annual fundraising event honors America’s history and service members. It begins with a social hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m. and a program at 7 p.m.

Featured speaker Stephen B. Daniel, an author, historian and Great Lakes shipwreck expert, will present “Shipbuilding in the Twin Ports During World War II.” His presentation explores the ships, shipyards and people who helped power America’s war effort, highlighting the region’s contributions to a pivotal period in the nation’s history.

The annual gathering recognizes the service and contributions of veterans while bringing the community together for an evening of remembrance and camaraderie in support of Veterans Memorial Hall. Guests will also have an opportunity to participate in a silent auction.
