Philosophy After Hours is a reading group open to adults who are curious about the classic works of philosophy but have never had an opportunity to read them. Individuals with or without experience in higher education are encouraged to participate. The group reads all texts at a slow pace. Stupid questions are encouraged.

Participants (ages 13 to 16) meet on the Michigan Street Plaza at the Main Library, then head out for adventure for Ride, Read and Hammock. Transportation will be provided from the library to the location for biking, hammocking and reading. There will be a different location for each session. All bikes, helmets and hammocks will be provided. Lunch from Erbert & Gerbert's will also be provided with vegetarian options available. All participants need to bring is a book to read.…
