Antique Appraisal

Members of the public are invited to bring an antique or collectible to the Depot's Great Hall for a free appraisal. Dan Sershon of Northland Estate Services and Denny Mager of Northern Specialty will offer their opinions on the value of submitted antiques. People may bring up to two items for an informal oral identification and evaluation of each antique. Author Nancy Lee will discuss “The 1918 Fire that Destroyed the City of Cloquet.” Her lecture is based on her book entitled The Island. The event will be held in the Ruth Maney Room on the first floor of the the Depot. The 1918 fire spread all the way to Duluth and other surrounding cities. Anthony Bush has played amateur baseball for 19 years and has been the Proctor Rails’ pitching coach for 13 years. His baseball articles have been published by the Duluth Budgeteer, Proctor Journal and Zenith City Online. He is a member of the Society for American Baseball Research and has been published on their website.
