St. Louis County Historical Society Museum Assistant Abby Johnson reads stories in the Lake Superior Ojibwe Gallery every Wednesday and Saturday during the summer. Sessions are free and aimed at 2–12-year-olds, however, all ages are welcome. All books have been approved by the American Indian Advisory Committee. The gallery is located on the fourth floor of the Duluth Depot. The Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra is bringing back Bridge Sessions for the summer of 2022. The special set of concerts combines DSSO musicians with local artists and bands. Each group will be performing pieces on their own and they will combine to augment music of the weekly artist. The first group in the series is Danny Frank & the Smoky Gold. Food trucks will be on site. Drinks will be available for purchase at a cash bar.

Members of the public are invited to bring an antique or collectible to the Duluth Depot's rotunda for a free appraisal. Denny Mager of Northern Specialty will offer opinions on the value of submitted antiques. People may bring up to two items for an informal oral identification and evaluation of each antique. Duluth Art Institute Masquerade Gala 2022
The Duluth Art Institute’s Masquerade Gala celebrates contemporary art, artists and the community. The event offers several opportunities to support the DAI financially through its silent auction, fund-a-need campaign, and general donations. Attendees should bring cash for games and busker tips.
