Join the Lakeside neighborhood for puzzles, games and fun. This is a casual gathering where you can come do a puzzle, learn a new game and enjoy the company of your neighbors. Portman Puzzle and Play will be every Wednesday. Parks and Recreation will provide games, but you are welcome to bring one along. You can just drop in, no registration required.

Play some disc golf in the dark. Duluth parks will be charging up their glow discs and are lighting up the nets for a night of playing disc golf in the dark. This night is for people ages 12 and up. Register at secure.rec1.com.

An opportunity for anyone to try out ice skating on an indoor rink with music. No sticks or pucks allowed. Limited skates available for use. Pre-register online, or pay at the door (cash and cards accepted). All ages.

The Duluth library is hosting Pumpkin Palooza this spooky season. All the materials need to paint, carve and create a pumpkins will be provided. There will also be other pumpkin activities including a themed storytime at 10 a.m. Limited supply of pumpkins available and are first come-first serve — participants can also bring their own. All ages are welcome.

Drop by Keene Creek Dog Park with your dog to play, take a photo with our Howl-o-ween photo booth and pick up a treat bag just for your pup. Costumes encouraged but not required to join in the fun. It is required that dogs be leashed when outside the dog park area. Register by October 14 to guarantee a goodie bag for you dog= — but no purchase necessary to join the party. Experience the fun of night by hiking with a self-guided, glow-stick illuminated hike on the Waabizheshikana Trail and finish things off with s'mores. Start at Indian Point Campground and follow the glow sticks on the 0.5 mi loop on the gravel path. Bring your own glow sticks, glow in the dark clothing, light up shoes or whatever you can find to add some flare to your hike. Drop in anytime 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This is a recreational all gender league. It will be played as 6 vs 6. Season consists of a regular season and end of year playoffs.
