Duluth's mega Christmas-light spectacular opens for the season with free cookies and hot cocoa for everyone. Bentleyville "Tour of Lights" is the largest walk through display of lights in America. Guests are invited to stroll under the glow of over 4 million lights in a 20-acre park on the shores of Lake Superior. Duluth's Independence Day celebration features live music throughout the day and fireworks from 10:10 to about 10:30 p.m. Gates open at 4 p.m. Admission is free and handicap accessible. No bottles, outside food, coolers, weapons or animals allowed at Bayfront Park. One empty water bottle per patron will be allowed in the park.
