Duluth's mega Christmas-light spectacular is the largest walk-through display of lights in America. Guests are invited to stroll under the glow of more than 5 million lights in a 20-acre park on the shores of Lake Superior. Whipper Snapper Races for Kids
The Whipper Snapper kids' races are held each year in Duluth’s Bayfront Festival Park on Grandma’s Marathon weekend. These races are free and open to children age 14 and under. All participants receive a ribbon at the completion of the race. The free short-distance races are a way to introduce kids to running or keep the fire burning bright for future marathon finishers. Duluth Fourth Fest 2024
Duluth's Independence Day celebration features live music throughout the day and fireworks from 10:10 to about 10:30 p.m. Gates open at 4 p.m. Admission is free and handicap accessible.
