The Old 13 String Bandits can vary from a foot-stomping one-man-band spectacle to sometimes expanding into a full string-and-horn outfit featuring upright bass and fiddle. The Cosmic Otter Club is a musical collective featuring a rotating cast of musicians hosted by Pete 'thunder'n'lightnin' Whiteman of Buffalo Galaxy. Beer Brewing for Beginners
Modern brewing can be quite technical and require specific equipment but the fundamentals of brewing are accessible to everybody. This 3 hour class features a sturdy winter beer full of ingredients common to Northern Minnesota. The class will make one gallon of beer, which you can replicate at home. Then, participants prime the beer for carbonation and transfer it to glass bottles. A variety of home-brewed beers will be available for sampling throughout the class.
