Duluth's mega Christmas-light spectacular is the largest walk-through display of lights in America. Guests are invited to stroll under the glow of more than five million lights in a 20-acre park on the shores of Lake Superior. Mr. and Mrs. Claus, along with Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, will be on hand for photos and handing out candy canes. Participants can also sample wine and beer from Keyport Liquor, eat hors d’oeuvres from Rich’s Cuisine, bid on silent auction items and win raffle prizes. Madelyne Adams, the hands behind the lettering of Good Letters, leads this holiday-themed hand lettering and card making workshop. This workshop covers the basics of hand lettering and the fundamentals behind planning a hand lettered composition. Participants put their new skills to the test by making a hand lettered holiday card. Ugly holiday sweaters are encouraged and materials and light refreshments will be provided. The ticket cost includes a drink ticket.

The Friends of Superior Public Library will host their annual Merry Little Book sale. This sale features a variety of books and other items, all in great condition, perfect for giving as gifts. Free gift-wrapping available. The Grinch will make an appearance on Saturday and will be available for photos. There will also be refreshments and a quilt raffle. All proceeds support the library throughout the year.
