Big Movies at the DECC: Back to the Future
The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center presents family movies on a big screen in its Harbor Side Ballroom every Thursday in February. It's a BYOB, meaning blanket or bean bag, affair. Old Dominion is bringing the No Bad Vibes Tour to Duluth with Whiskey Jam favorites to open the show. Known for their lively blend of pop and country, Old Dominion is a five-man band from Nashville, Tenn. Their single, Break Up With Him, rose to No. 1 in US Country Airplay. FIRST Robotics Regional Competition 2023
More than 4,000 high school students compete for fame and glory in the largest For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology robotics competition event held under one roof. Also known as the "Double DECC’er," it is a combination of two regionals -- the Northern Lights Regional and the Lake Superior Regional. The two regionals host a combined 120 teams. Practice rounds are on Thursday and the robots compete in earnest on Friday and Saturday. For more information visit frcnorthland.org.

The 53rd annual Motorhead Madness rolls back to the DECC March 18-19 with more than 150 cars, 4X4s, customs, race cars, street rods, antiques, cycles, car club displays, vendors and more. The entertainment includes make-and-take models, Lake Superior Radio Control car club races, a drag-racing Christmas tree simulator, memorabilia, and the Miss Motorhead contest. Each year a portion of the event proceeds are given to a local nonprofit organization. This year’s recipient will be Wounded Warriors.

Duluth Fourth Fest 2023
Duluth's Independence Day celebration features live music throughout the day and fireworks from 10:10 to about 10:30 p.m. Admission is free and handicap accessible.
