The 41st annual FinnFest USA is an event with academic and cultural components that inform as well as celebrate Finnish and Finnish American culture. The five-day festival at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center runs July 24-28, with some events at other locations. For a full rundown of the schedule for each day, visit 2024.finnfest.us. Barbie: A Cultural Icon Exhibition
Barbie: A Cultural Icon Exhibition charts the 65-year history of Barbie and the doll’s global affect on fashion and popular culture. The display includes more than 300 vintage artifacts, a life-size Barbie Ultravette, life-size Barbie boxes and fashion designs and much more. The exhibition is on display Aug. 6 through Sept. 22.

The GO Show is for adults age 55 and older who are planning ahead for retirement (or already retired) but still going. GO is an acronym for "getting older." The event features exhibitors, live entertainment, seminars, services and samples.
