The Duluth Art Institute offers a regular Tuesday open art-studio session at the Depot. People of all abilities practicing all artistic mediums are invited to bring their own supplies and join the weekly group. The cost is $5 plus a DAI membership. The first session is free.

The HolidAi Market will feature 50 artists with handmade works from the Duluth Art Institute Clay Studio, Duluth Fiber Handcrafters Guild and the Lake Superior Watercolor Society. Artwork will range from functional pieces to ornamental. There will also be live demonstrations and hands-on activities. The DAI will also have limited edition prints of artworks from its 2018 exhibitions available for purchase.
