Grant-in-aid Snowmobile Trails Close
The statutory end of the snowmobile riding season on grant-in-aid trails is midnight, March 31, when permits with private landowners expire. Snowmobile trails remain open on public land while weather and snow conditions permit. Riders should be aware that trail grooming operations will cease when conditions are too warm to effectively groom. Late season snowmobilers should keep safety in mind and be aware of changing conditions. As snow recedes, rocks and other obstructions can become a hazard to trail users.…

The Clover Valley Farm Trail is a co-operative group of locally-owned, small farms located in or near Clover Valley, a farming community between Duluth and Two Harbors. The farms offer a variety of produce, baked goods, crafts and other items sold from self-serve farm stands. Visitors can simply follow the map and posted directional signs to find each farm. Superior Porchfest is a free, family-friendly music and art festival. Locations and musicians have not yet been announced. Attendees can bring a blanket or lawn chair, pack a picnic and/or simply stop by to enjoy the show.

The 18th annual Catalyst Content Festival runs Sept. 27-30 at various locations. It's the festival's fifth year in Duluth. The event is an industry marketplace for independently produced episodic programming. The goal is to lower the barriers between creators, audiences, the industry, and Minnesota so each group can benefit. The event is part of the 10-day, three-event North Star Story Summit, which also includes the Duluth Superior Film Festival and Minnesota WebFest.

Christmas City of the North Parade 2023
The Christmas City of the North Parade has been an annual holiday tradition in Duluth for six decades. It features marching bands, dance performances, colorful floats and an appearance by Santa Claus. The parade is broadcast live on KBJR-TV channel 6.1 and online at kbjr6.com.
