Downtown Duluth, the nonprofit community organization that promotes and supports the city's downtown area, presents Get Downtown week April 22–27. The event celebrates restaurants, retailers and breweries by inviting people to shop, eat and drink downtown and take advantage of special offers from about 30 participating businesses.

Christmas City of the North Parade 2024
The Christmas City of the North Parade has been an annual holiday tradition in Duluth for six decades. It features marching bands, dance performances, colorful floats and an appearance by Santa Claus. Twin Ports Trailer Trash, a Duluth-based junk removal company, offers free Christmas tree pickups during its sixth annual holiday tree removal event, running Jan. 6-7. Residents of Duluth, Superior and Hermantown are eligible.
