The Clover Valley Farm Trail is a co-operative group of locally-owned, small farms located in or near Clover Valley, a farming community between Duluth and Two Harbors. The farms offer a variety of produce, baked goods, crafts and other items sold from self-serve farm stands. Visitors can simply follow the map and posted directional signs to find each farm. The trail, modeled after Bayfield’s “Fruit Loop,” provides farmers the opportunity to sell items commonly found at farmers markets. Event organizers…

The 13th annual Duluth Superior Film Festival runs Oct. 5-8. The festival is part of the North Star Story Summit, which also includes the Minnesota WebFest and Catalyst Content Festival.

There will be more than 60 orchard and food booths, nearly 100 arts and crafts booths, a kids carnival with games and rides, and more at the 61st annual Bayfield Apple Festival Oct. 6-8. Apple pies, tarts, tortes, dumplings, caramel apples and ciders galore will fill the streets of Bayfield in a celebration of the autumn harvest and Bayfield’s agricultural heritage. The festival’s attractions also include a grand parade, apple peeling and pie contests, raffles and street entertainment.
