This 1870s-era photo of the Lake Superior & Mississippi Railroad has been discussed on PDD before, but today I came across a handsome framed enlargement. Where is it?
It is with very little confidence that I throw out the guess that this photo is hanging in the Skywalk of the Wieland Block. I have a vague memory of walking through there long ago and seeing some historic images.
The picture is not downtown.
