Suggestions for a cheap wedding photographer in Duluth

My fiancé and I are getting married in 2018 and we have done some searching and the prices for professional photographers are ridiculous. We are looking for a photographer for our wedding and we don’t want to spend more than $1,000. Perhaps someone who does it part time and has some wedding photography experience. Any suggestions?

Several very good Duluth wedding photographers have emerged in the six years since the last time someone asked about it on PDD, so hopefully you'll get some good new recommendations in addition to the old stuff.

And I'll mention this because it's a recent development:

The wedding video and photography business Lola Visuals recently dissolved. One of the partners, David Cowardin, is now operating as Blue Forest Films, focusing on outdoor adventure films and weddings.
