Unwelcome in Duluth (part II)

After following the interesting post “Unwelcome in Duluth” and reading a few of the articles mentioned in the numerous posts, I have come to the conclusion that people want different things from this city. Thus, I would like you to ask a few questions to yourself, the people of Duluth to see what kind of consensus can be achieved.
1: What do you want out of a Duluth life?
2: Are you getting it?
3: If not, can this be achievable in Duluth (right now, not in ten years from now or 100 years ago)?
4: What are you willing to sacrifice to get it?

Hmm, interesting. I guess less police officers in west Duluth. We had the same problem in Boulder, CO. You had a task force so large it was ridiculous.
You only have to sit and wait for the bus without seeing at least a couple of squad cars going by within about 15 minutes.
Visiting the local gas station, you can see they quite literally give true meaning to the donut/coffee cop cliche. Three squad cars parked at the station and officers doing nothing. Seriously?
As far as I can see, they just drive back and forth on Grand, take frequent breaks, and do pretty much nothing else.

2: Yes.
3: Yes.
4: Yes.
