Duluth’s “Underground Historian”
The SubStreet Underground website released one of it most compelling stories yesterday. It’s about the demolition of a St. Paul power station.
While the story is about St. Paul, the photographer/archivist/storyteller behind the project is Duluthian Dan “Glass.”
I’m fascinated by exploring forgotten areas, but hesitate due to issues with safety and rudely breaking into people’s squats.
I am with you on this one; I know that Dan has moved increasingly toward securing proper permissions and I think has even been invited to document some sites.
