The Park Point Rummage Sale is a four-mile long event on Minnesota Avenue in Duluth's Park Point neighborhood. It runs June 12-13. Approximately 125 properties simultaneously hold sales Shoppers should plan ahead for potential traffic delays and remember to bring a tote bag, backpack or a wagon to transport purchased items. All sales are on private property. There is no public area for selling.

The fourth annual Duluth-stämman: Folk Music & Dance Festival will offer dances, workshops, jam circles, performances, youth workshops and activities and a unique experience that is inclusive to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources offers free admission to all 75 Minnesota state parks and recreation areas on four days each year. On Free Park Days the DNR waives the requirement for a vehicle permit to enter state parks and recreation areas. The entrance fee waiver does not cover activities like camping, rentals or tours. The 50th annual Grandma's Marathon is a 26.2-mile race on scenic Highway 61 along the north shore of Lake Superior. It begins just outside of Two Harbors and finishes in Duluth's Canal Park. The Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon begins at 6:15 a.m. on the edge of Duluth's city limits and follows the regular marathon course through the heart of Duluth.
