4-H Artist Camp at The Depot
Ready, set, create. At the 4-H Artist Camp at The Depot, explore famous artists and their style of artwork, then create your own art inspired by you. By the end of the camp, you will have at least four pieces of artwork to showcase. On the last day of camp there will be an art show for youth to share their completed artwork. Learn and play with robots. Participants will be introduced to coding with various, easy-to-program robots. These little bots open up the creative side of coding, while promoting problem-solving skills, communication, and teamwork. This program will be enjoyed by kids the most and tweens could still be interested. Teens might be too old to get the same experience. Other Dates: September 16 November 18

4-H Performing Arts Day Camp for kids in grades 3-5 are taught about the history of different puppet styles while making their own puppets for a performance at the end of the week. The $50 cost will cover supplies and snacks. Classes will be held at the same time from Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Spirit Valley Days 2024
Spirit Valley Days is an annual three-day extravaganza celebrating the neighborhood of West Duluth. Thursday's events include the Miss West Duluth pageant1 and the Spirit Valley Days Parade at 6 p.m. Friday's events include a pancake breakfast and the Spirit Valley Days Car Show.

A cast of kids, ages 12-18, and local Duluth artists will put on the Shakespearian favorite, A Midsummer Night's Dream, in a one-of-a-kind, two-week theatrical experience. Lake Superior Harvest Festival 2024
Lake Superior Sustainable Farming Association's 30th annual Harvest Festival is a family-centered event featuring a huge farmers market showcasing the region's agricultural bounty. The event also includes a food court, live music, an energy fair, crafts and more. Admission is free, but there is a suggested donation of $5 per person or $10 per family.

Christmas City of the North Parade 2024
The Christmas City of the North Parade has been an annual holiday tradition in Duluth for six decades. It features marching bands, dance performances, colorful floats and an appearance by Santa Claus. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. in front of the Fitger’s complex at Sixth Avenue East and Superior Street and continues along Superior Street to Fourth Avenue West.
