So, like eight people in Leif Erickson? I was hoping for footage of various bombardments from around the city. I guess the memo was not widely distributed.

Jeez, am I becoming Helmut Flagg? Or Burly? Anybody remember Burly? Is anybody even here anymore?

Oh my goodness! My password still works. Haven't posted much in about five years; been busy, you know how that goes. But I just love what Paul did with the montage here. Can somebody tell me the song and artist, because I adore that, too.

I thought of it as "city-wide" in that the whole city was coming to Leif Erikson to battle for dominance. But the battle lines were much more amorphous than that. But I think we did have about 30 people at the peak. And the snow was perfect snowball snow. Like nobody could have possibly imagined how perfect it turned out. So, you know, another Perfect Duluth Day.

The music is the second half of "Life is Grand" by Camper Van Beethoven.

Here are more snowball fight images, compiled by Eric Rice.

Only Baby Jesus can forgive you now VIc, as he and your trusty Golden Retriever watch helplessly from your back porch while you flay yourself with a spry twig of buckthorn.
