MPR: $300M initiative to clean up Great Lakes

Congress has approved $300 million to continue a multiyear program aimed at fixing some of the Great Lakes’ most severe environmental problems. Some of the money is expected to benefit Lake Superior and Duluth.

    I hope they address the mystery barrels less than a mile from Duluth’s drinking water intake.

    I think there’s a typo in your post- “severe..programs.”

    Yeah, it seems the word “programs” should be “problems.” That text is from the first paragraph of the story. I’ve fixed it here; MPR is working on fixing it there.
