The Camel Incident in Madison

A crew from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart was at the Capital in Madison on Monday to shoot some sort of a bit that involved a camel. As handlers started to walk the camel around a barricade, well, things got ugly. Jack Craver of the weekly Isthmus newspaper caught it on video.

The camel was not injured. Firefighters on the scene helped untangle things.

Camel crashing seems to be the hot new thing. Though I much prefer the previous camel incident.

A large crowd of demonstrators protesting the actions of an authoritarian leader and Stewart brings in a camel to go medieval on their asses. Funny.

What an odd noise from that camel. I guess I would feel the same way in that situation, poor camel!

Hmmm, seems as though PETA has amnesia when it comes to lefty entertainers. I can only imagine if that would have been Beck or Rush. That would never happen though, because conservatives don't exploit animals, they just eat them or turn them into belts and boots...
