Karen Owsley Nease Art Exhibition: As Above, So Below
The Kruk Gallery at University of Wisconsin–Superior presents "As Above, So Below." The exhibition features Karen Owsley Nease’s wave portrait series. In addition to the opening exhibition, the oil paintings can be viewed Oct. 4-26. The gallery hours are Mon.-Wed. from 12-6 p.m., Thurs. 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Fridays 9 a.m.-1 p.m. There will be an accompanying exhibition catalog with essays by Ruth Henriquez and Ann Landi.

Quilts are Magic Opening Reception
Scott Lunt, aka Starfire, has been a fixture and founder of the flourishing music scene in Duluth. In 2014 he visited McTavish Quilt Studio with his mother and ended up getting hooked on quilting. Veterans Art Workshop
The University of Wisconsin-Superior Visual Arts Department hosts an art workshop geared specifically toward area veterans. Artists John Sebelius and Chris King will be on hand to guide participants. UWS Summer Theatre Camp 2020
UW-Superior offers a summer program for ages 11-18 who love the art of theater and want to expand their knowledge and skills. This year's camp will have an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants will produce a radio-theater style production of a mystery comedy based on the classic board game Clue. Students will play the parts and produce all the sound effects.
