What thought comes to mind when you hear the word “crisis”? What feelings? Is your instinct to run toward a crisis or run from it?

Roger Reinert served nearly 15 years as a City Councilor, State Representative, and State Senator. But, he will tell you his greatest growth as a leader has come since leaving office. A combat deployment to Afghanistan, another to Italy at the start of COVID, and serving as the Interim Executive Director at the DECC during the darkest days of the pandemic. Throw into the mix graduating law school, passing the bar exam, and a divorce. All in the last four years.

Roger will share what he has learned, how he has grown, and why he encourages you to think of living, and leading, during a time of crisis as a gift, not just an experience to be survived or endured.
