Feb 17, 2023, 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm | Free | College of St. Scholastica

Event Navigation

Do all religions have a common essence? Is pluralistic discourse empowering or oppressive for marginalized communities? CSS Assistant Professor of Religious Studies Andrew Taylor will explore how Tibetan Buddhist luminaries have engaged these questions by examining the political projects of Jamgön Kongtrül the Great and the present Dalai Lama.

This event will take place in the Library North Reading Room.
