The University of Wisconsin-Superior Theatre Department presents William Shakespeare’s classic, in which a whirlwind of love professions, songs, laughter, drinks and confusion unfolds as mistaken identities and misunderstandings create chaos over who has promised what to whom. Duluth Playhouse Underground presents Every Brilliant Thing, a play written by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe. Performances run April 3-13. This day trip to a see the Mary Poppins musical at the Paramount Center for Arts in St. Cloud includes a stop in Mora for a lunch buffet and a visit with the giant Dahla horse. Palo native Steve Solkela and his My Humble Opera stages their version of Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s comedy live on the Sacred Heart altar stage. La Serva Padrona was written and composed in the 18th century, and its story revolves around a bachelor in a powdered wig who marries his servant after she tricks him into believing she is about to marry a military man.
