"The Great Duluth Sweat Together" is a communal sauna event that combines Duluth's rich sauna culture with community engagement and support for a cause. Music and art are the themes of the Twin Ports May Day Labor Rally. A free picnic lunch with vegan options will start at noon with the program to follow. The rally will also feature round-table discussions and tabling by organizations. Noted labor historian Peter Rachleff, an emeritus professor at Macalester College, will provide the keynote address. A slide show art exhibit by Carolyn Olson, a narrative artist living in Duluth, will be projected throughout the gathering.
