My friend lost a Subaru key while she was running the trails behind Hawk Ridge – snowmobile trail, Amity Trail, Superior Hiking Trail. Replacing it will cost her $260. Have you seen it?
I just need to comment on the price to replace the key. Who could imagine that you could (and I’m not saying you should) offer a $250 reward for a lost key and still come out ahead. Sorry.
I ran many of those trails late Saturday morning and didn’t notice a key. I’ll look harder next time.
The ‘value’ of keys is staggering. Last summer, we bought our first car since 2000. The salesman cautioned the sets of extra keys we requested would be $500. Um, no thanks.

Thanks, Nick. She figures it’s buried under leaves now. She forked over for a replacement key.
