Duluth Doctor Recommendation?
I’m looking for a general practitioner in the Duluth Clinic system. I am in need of a new one, and was hoping someone might have a good recommendation. I would prefer someone in the SMDC network since all of my records are there currently. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I’ve gone to see Dr. Josefino Diaz at the Duluth Clinic a few times. Reasonable guy and seems to know which end of a stethoscope to use.
I’ve had three doctors at SMDC. The one I currently have is by far the best. His name if Dr. Livingstone Igwe and he’s out at the Lakeside Clinic.
I would highly recommend Dr. Alan Johns at SMDC. He is very professional, easy to talk to, and is quite knowledgeable. He also teaches with the UMD Medical School so he’s very current on his knowledge.
Dr Josefino Diaz gets another vote. He is personable, remembers your name, allows you to be a part of the care and simply is genuine. Medical care is tough enough. You need a good doc to help. SMDC has many great ones yet he gets my vote. A good guy!!!!!
Jim Jorgenson is the best doctor I have had at SMDC. Dr. Diaz was my doctor for awhile and I swtiched to Dr J. Top of his class in med school and a nice guy to boot. For St. Luke’s Steve Long out of Mount Royal would get my vote. The thing is it takes about a year to get onto Dr. J’s panel.
I see Anne Skadberg and Patricia Earley ath the SMDC Lakeside clinic. Even though I live near the West Duluth clinic, I still prefer to drive all the way out there for better treatment.
I second the Anne Skadberg comment, been to see her and felt it was worth going to Lakeside, even though I ltve closer to the downtown clinic.
We see Dr Robert Pierpont and/or Olga Ter-Grigoriyan, CNP in Superior. They are worth the drive.
Dr. Jennings at the SMDC Hermantown Clinic is my personal favorite.
I also recommend Dr. Skadberg. I feel she is a good listener – it isn’t like she’s too busy to be bothered with your concerns.
I, like EvilResident, enjoy my yearly visit with Dr. George Jennings up at the Hermantown SMDC on Arrowhead. He will be my Dr. for a long time if I have anything to say about it.
