*shrug*

I'm generally surprised when I discover someone *not* on drugs.

Now we know why he was always so excited about his products...

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire

Cocaine blowing up your nose

Tiny viens that are ready to blow

Will find a cerebro vascular accident tonight

You'll find that heart attacks are soon to follow

That meth and any amphetamines are the same

You'll see that lots of rich people have the diagnosis

And steriod use is on the same vein

Just some song lyrics from your's truly

Peace

You're a funny Bad Cat!

And how sad, Zra. What would your momma say?

taking into consideration that the way that the entirety of 38 years of my life has been spent, she definitely wouldn't be surprised. i know i'm not.

besides, if you learned anything from Fast Times At Ridgemont High, it should be that *everyone* is on drugs.

You know what? I'm fine if Billy Mays snorted a line every now and then. Did his habit hurt me in any way? Well, except for the overwrought commercials for Oxiclean- no!

This just proves that the war on (some) drugs is a sham. D.A.R.E. to keep cops (and the government) off drugs.

Exert your right to ingest whatever the hell you feel like on your own damn time. Even if it carries a risk.

Oh. Well, if I was your momma, I'd recommend you find some new friends/associates this very minute.

And unlike your friend Al here, I have never seen that movie. :)

Camila,

Perhaps you should view the movie...with an open mind...if you are capable.

Camilla, I'd take that under advisement, only I have no friends.

Perhaps, Al, you have me all wrong.

Zra, maybe you should shave your beard, and throw on some jeans and a simple white T? If you had friends, maybe they'd tell you that your choice of attire doesn't exactly scream, "Hey! How about we hang out, maybe share a six pack, some time?" I'm just sayin' :)

Um, what? Everyone knows drugs are pretty much everywhere. I don't do them, but you can't just turn a blind eye to the fact that 90% of the people you have met certainly have (you can read that as "most likely have"). I would be willing to bet that 70% of your bible study has.

OK. That was mean. I apologize. A little bit.

On the side note... D.A.R.E. had a decent idea that went awry.

I disagree with Al somewhat on letting people do whatever they want to do "all" the time, mostly because of the interesting experiences of outside-the-home-area "jaunts" of people on shrooms that happened in various parts of the Boulder campus a while ago.

But, on the flip side... you can push a shroomer over with a tiny stick, so... no worries mate.

Don't take that one the wrong way. I really believe that people should be able to take whatever drugs they want as long as they don't hurt anyone else. That's pretty vague, but that's how I naively see it.

Since obtaining drugs is engaging in part of a criminal enterprise, using drugs is in part aiding that criminal enterprise. Last winter I stayed in Mexico and met a man whose brother was killed by drug lords. He may disagree that using drugs doesn't harm anyone else since it provides financial support to an organization that is holding some communities hostage. Of course all of this is moot if you support local growers and know where your drugs come from.

Yes. Buy locally made drugs.
