Lost Dog in Lakeside
By Bret on May 25, 2012 in Lost and Found
Found a little lost dog in Lakeside near 52nd Avenue East and Dodge Street this morning. It has a purple collar but no tags. It has an injured right, rear leg and seems like it was out for a while (very hungry and matted, but just had chicken and water!). I will bring her to the Duluth Animal Shelter.

Poor sweet dog. Bret, thank you for rescuing her, she looks like she’s been living rough for a while.
PS, I said “her” but actually I’m not sure if it is a male or female.
She looks like a dog a rehomed about a year ago, and I live in Lakeside…but the woman who took her lived in Pike Lake. Do you have any more pictures?
Poor guy! I hope he gets back home safe!
You should also post this ad on http://duluth.craigslist.org/laf/, where more people might see it, including the dog’s owner.
It’s hard to tell without a view from the side -- but that dog might be Olive who belonged to Gretchen Sandberg who lives in Lakeside.
Do you know how to get in touch with Gretchen Sandberg to find out?
Sorry, I don’t have any other pictures.
The owners of this little guy have found him at the shelter. He’ll be going home tomorrow, but today he gets neutered and will get up to date on all his vaccinations.
Yay!!! I’m so glad. Thanks Bret!
Yay!
