So many, many thanks!

To Brian Barber of PDD for helping with our posts and donating artwork. To Claire for the books – and all the SA donors – Sharla, Joan, Diane, 4th St Lube, everyone. To Steve O’Neil for helping in the kitchen!!! To the Spin Collective for wowing everyone. To the fabulous musicians Terrrol and Jane, Dirty Horse, Rachael Kilgour and Too Many Banjos for knocking us out with their music. To everyone who came and donated, who ate spaghetti and bought silent auction items.

We raised $3,000 for the Kozyites and a great time was had by all. Thanks so much to our community. — Carla

  1. Carla, *Thank you* for inspiring so many people from so many different parts of the community to come together and help you put on such a spectacular event! I’m glad you raised so much money and I hope, in the process, you and Barb had as much fun as everyone who came. You two *and your employees* were incredibly generous to have gone over and beyond last night to help out the Kozy Fire survivors. Glad so many showed up to, and had a great time, while helping out. I know the guy who used to live at the Kozy who was sitting next to me during Too Many Banjos was lovin’ it all.

PS — Attention Homegrown organizers! The library area at Chester Park Cafe is a fantastic venue for an acoustic set. Just saying… I sure hope Carla uses that library area for more performances…

  3. Carla, your employees were heroes! I heard many of them were working off the clock, too (their choice). There was just so much generosity and kindness at CC last night. And the fire dancers on your deck! And the belly dancers! Incredible evening.
