    I like the juxtaposition of “steamship or plane” … what year do you think this was? I love that steamship was just as likely as plane or “motor.”

    I’m not sure of the exact date this particular piece of propaganda was published, but Duluth tended to be billed as a “Hay-fever Haven” and “Air-conditioned City” in the late 1930s and early 1940s.
