Duluth Super Tour
The Grand Avenue Nordic Center at Spirit Mountain will be the site of the first U.S. Ski & Snowboard SuperTour races of the 2021-22 season, hosted by the Duluth Cross-Country Ski Club. Spirit Mountain hosts its sixth annual Frosted Fatty winter downhill fat-bike racing event. Racers will make multiple attempts during a one-hour window, and their fastest time will be recorded. The event includes men’s and women’s races. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. near the Moosehead Saloon at the Skyline Chalet. The trails used will depend on conditions. Cost to be determined.

Spirit Mountain's seventh annual Frosted Fatty winter downhill fat-bike racing event features a 2-stage downhill race and a head-to-head dual slalom. Downhill races will have male and female categories and age categories. Online pre-registration is required. There is no registration on the day of the event. All fat-biking operations roll through the Grand Avenue Chalet. This includes lift tickets, mandatory bike check, etc. The Grand Avenue Chalet is located at 8551 Grand Avenue.

Marshall Holiday Ski Camp
The Marshall Holiday Ski Camp is for children ages 5-12 and runs Dec. 27-29 with sessions held at the Spirit Mountain Nordic Center from 1 to 4 p.m. each day. The camp fee is $100 per child for three afternoons of learning and fun. Instruction is provided by the members of Marshall Nordic Ski Team and Alumni. The 46th annual Atmore Memorial Mid-America Ski Race is the premier International Ski and Snowboard Federation slalom in the Central Division. It takes place Feb. 9-11.
