Spirit Loves Duluth Days: Summer Style

Spirit Mountain Recreation Area offers Duluthians $5 tickets for rides in its Adventure Park and on its scenic chairlift the afternoons of Aug. 27 and 29 as part of Spirit Duluth Days: Summer Style.
The deeply discounted rates provide Duluth residents a low-cost way to experience Spirit Mountain’s summer offerings and demonstrate its appreciation for Duluth’s support. Spirit’s winter version of Spirit Duluth was popular with local residents, with about 2,000 Duluthians experiencing outdoor winter adventures.
Summer opportunities at the Adventure Park include the Timber Cruiser alpine coaster, the Timber Flyer zip-ride, the Jumping Pillow and Putt-Putt Golf. Duluthians also can take scenic chairlift rides as part of this special event.
To minimize crowding and long lines and to comply with other safety requirements:
- Residents must purchase their tickets and reserve their timeslots online at spiritmt.com.
- Tickets will be available online starting Thursday, August 19. Time slots will be made available in a time-released manner to ensure residents have equal access.
- Electronic waivers must be signed for all riders at www.spiritmt.com/waivers
- There will be no sales at the ticket counter; all tickets must be purchased online in advance.
- Reservations are time-specific, and a late arrival will result in forfeiting the ticket.
- Masks are required indoors.
Crowd control also requires limiting the number of tickets available. Spirit Duluth will run from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 27, and from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 29.
Duluth residents will be required to show a valid I.D. that demonstrates their residence in the city of Duluth when picking up discounted tickets.
