Walk to End Alzheimer’s 2024
Event Navigation
The annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a three-mile walk that serves as a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. The event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.
Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s.
Registration begins at 1 p.m. The opening ceremony is at 2, followed by the walk. There is no fee to participate in the walk, but walkers must sign a standard waiver through their official registration. Parents/guardians can register children online or complete an offline registration form and sign the waiver on behalf of the child. Every participant is asked to make a personal donation and commit to raising funds in the fight against Alzheimer’s.
To register online visit alz.org.
The route runs from the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center to the Fitger’s Brewery Complex and back. Entry to Pioneer Hall at the DECC is through Entrance A at 350 Harbor Drive.
All funds raised through the Walk to End Alzheimer’s further the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. The Alzheimer’s Association is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Every registered participant who achieves the fundraising minimum of $100 will receive an official Walk to End Alzheimer’s T-shirt in the mail. To receive a shirt in time for walk day, participants must raise the T-shirt minimum at least four weeks prior to the event.
