The Duluth Art Institute celebrates another big year surreal style. Attendees can eat dinner with “peculiar and distinguished” gala guests, hit the dance floor in a “surreal evening dreamscapes,” and explore a maximalist wonderland of “creative and colorful diversions.”
The event features live painting by Moira Villiard, David Austin, Lin Rose and Mollie Maxine, and a photo op art installation by Cherry Koch. There will also be add-on wine or whisky tasting experiences, a silent auction, cocktails and more.
Tickets are available at duluthartinstitute.org. The cost is $100 for the full evening or $25 for just the dance.
