The School of the Minnesota Ballet celebrates dance in the Great Hall with a special event for the public. Advanced students perform special works and upper-level students demonstrate dance technique. After the presentations, the entire audience can join in social dances or watch the fun.
The annual performance showcases student progress over the year and features a special work by the two highest ballet levels. Performing choreography by their teachers are students from pre-ballet and ballet levels, Young Men’s Athletic Dance, Creative Dance for children with developmental challenges, and the Teen/Adult Division. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children, and are available by calling 218-529-3742.
The Reif spring show is the annual finale of Reif Dance education. Each year features a theme-inspired show performed by more than 100 students from preschoolers to high school seniors. Tickets can be purchased online, at reifcenter.org.
The annual Taste of Greece Festival features Greek music and dancing as well as a marketplace and boutique.
