Introduction to Spoon Carving

Duluth Folk School presents this a three-hour introduction to the craft of greenwood spoon carving. Participants will finish the class with their own hand-carved serving spoon.

The first part of class covers safety, knife grips and traditional techniques for carving. For the rest of the class applies what students have learned to transform the spoon blank provided into a completed spoon.
