Pottery 101 Class

Learn to make a bowl or cup on the potter's wheel. Start to finish. Learn to center, pull, shape and trim pottery. Hand-building is also offered, if student prefers. Select glaze for instructor to fire in the kiln. Pottery is microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. Pick up a finished piece in about three weeks after the class.

Hillfest 2017

The eighth annual Hillfest neighborhood street festival is for anyone who enjoys Duluth's Hillside neighborhoods. It takes place at the intersection of Fourth Street and Sixth Avenue East. Food, arts, crafts and more than 20 vendors will be on site. There will be live music by Boku Frequency and Jamie Ness, along with additional entertainment by the Choice Unlimited Arts Dance Troupe. There will also be a free climbing wall, basketball all day and other activities.

There will also be music from Todd Eckart and a silent auction to support local the Salvation Army's weekday hot lunch and emergency food shelf. Food will be available for purchase at the Wade Stadium concession stands. A percentage of concessions sales will also be donated.
