The Nordic Center presents the first Duluth-stämman: Nordic Folk Music and Dance Festival. The two-day event offers dances, workshops, jam circles, performances in an experience that includes people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. This year’s musical performers will include international musicians from Scandinavia and some of the finest Nordic musicians from the Midwest.
The opening dance on Friday night is a celebration of the community being back together. It features live music sets from a variety of dance music ensembles.
