Café Scientifique: Celebrating the St. Louis River

Kris Eilers, director of the St. Louis River Alliance, is the presenter at this edition of Café Scientifique. This is a hybrid event; masks must be worn in person, the program is also available online via Zoom.
The history of the St. Louis River is a murky one. This presentation will take a short look at the dying river, then move forward to the success story of the partnerships and engaged community that is helping the river recover, and how that affects the surrounding communities.
Café Scientifique Twin Ports is an event at which, for the price of a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, anyone can explore the latest ideas in science and technology. Meetings take place in cafés, bars, restaurants and even theaters, but always outside a traditional academic context.
