Presidential Nomination Primary Election
The Presidential Nomination Primary Election requires voters to choose either a Democratic-Farmer-Labor, Legal Marijuana Now or Republican party ballot. Declaration of a specific party is required; pursuant to state law, the party choice of the voter is private information. Duluth's Natural Resources Commission meets on the first Wednesday of each month in Lakeside Conference Room 430 at Duluth City Hall. The commission provides science–based guidance on the protection and enhancement of the ecological health of city-owned and city-managed lands and the regional ecosystems of which they are a part. Cherry Koch's project began with an open call asking folks to answer the prompt “Have you ever felt unsafe in public spaces on account of visible queerness?” Through this process, models were chosen and asked a series of questions regarding their queer experience. The Duluth Public Utilities Commission is holding a public hearing regarding proposed water rate increases. The hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers, Duluth City Hall Room 320. The purpose of the hearing will be to explain the proposed 9.25% increases to the water variable rates effective April 15, and effective Jan. 1 for each of the next four years, and to receive comments from the public regarding the proposed multi-year rate plan.
