Glensheen’s 15th Annual Festival of Fine Art and Craft takes place on Saturday, August 15 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

More than 80 artists, free admission, free parking, and a free shuttle bus from UMD

Glensheen Concerts by the Lake

Get out your dancing shoes- Glensheen’s Concerts by the Lake started this Wednesday, July 1!

Enjoy toe-tapping tunes from the Jim Melde Big Band on the shores of Lake Superior this week and every week in July: July 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.

The concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and are FREE this year. (Don’t forget your lawn chair!)

Will to Murder event at Glensheen

Wednesday, June 24 the publisher and authors of Will to Murder will launch the fourth edition of their book at Glensheen, the historic Congdon estate.

Two seatings are being offered at the following times:

First seating      6 – 7:30 p.m.

Second seating  8 – 9:30 p.m.

Each seating is $20 per person in advance and $25 at the door.  Friends of Glensheen are offered a discounted rate of $15.

Free Tours of Glensheen

Glensheen will be offering free tours on Friday, May 22, 2009 in celebration of the 30th anniversary of opening to the public. The complimentary community day begins at 9:30 a.m. and the last tour starts at 4 p.m.
