Yes, it’s been 18 years since the first post was published on PDD. Each year since then, we’ve held some form of birthday party on June 29 — from screening The Big Lebowski on the sailboat sculpture at Gateway Park in 2004 to a drive-through pandemic cupcake giveaway in the parking lot at Wussow’s Concert Cafe in 2020. It’s just our way of doing an in-person thing once a year as evidence that human beings and not machines operate this website.

So join us, if you please. There is no planned entertainment, just drinks and confections. We’re not putting up a big banner or canopy this year, so just look for bozos hanging out around a picnic basket.
