Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The smelt are coming!

The Magic Smelt Puppet Troupe is pleased to announce the opening of our 2013 Smelt Run Puppet Parade workshop, at 134 W. 1st St, between Pineapple Arts and Bella Flora!

We have begun making parade puppets and fancy hats with these students from UMD!

We will be hosting free puppet, mask, and costume making sessions three days per week, open to citizens of all ages, beginning on Saturday, March 30. This is a lot of fun, as we get ready for our second annual Smelt Run Puppet Parade and smelt fry on April 21. Check the PDD calendar for worksop dates and times.

We will be sculpting and sewing and painting as we prepare to welcome the Smelt Queen!

Bring anything flashy and silver, especially articles of clothing, accessories, hats, and fancy things for the parade and smelt party.

Our kickstarter fundraising campaign ends at 5:00PM on Saturday March 16. The Smelt Queen needs You!
