It's in Breakfastland.

Specifically, at 1969 West Idontknow Street.

Just a guess.

It would be sweet if dumb "commentors" could delete their dumb comments after they realize how dumb their comments are.

I believe many of the vendors at the UMD market also sell produce at the Farmer's Market on 3rd Street at 14th Ave. East, which is open from 7 a.m.-noon on the same days (Wednesdays) and also on Saturdays. That should give work-day workers a chance to get their plants and veggies.

I think the UMD market was developed to give growers some different market hours and access to a potentially easy market in the workers at UMD.

Good one. I'm thinking this is in west Duluth, but not real sure. Actually in between west Duluth and Spirit Vally on Superior Street. It was a diner a while back and more recently a all age nightclub. I'm really not sure if that is right or not but that's what came to mind.

I grew upon 59th in WD so I think its the green-ish building that has been vacant for YEARS right next to the (sadly) long closed Danish Bakery where I spent many many a morning before school having a coffee and a honeymoon. But I may be wrong.... But my bet is that- the building on the corner of 59th and Grand.....

And we have a winner! MaryBee you're correct. And it's funny that someone mistakenly posted about the farmer's market, because the sign outside this building says Spirit Valley Fresh Farmer's Market. I've never actually seen a farmer's market in operation there, however.

For a prize you get ... um ... some good luck toward your next wish.

Elpete, the building you're talking about is the Western Building, located squarely in the West End/Lincoln Park. It's the former location of the Western and Spot bars, the Western Cafe, and an all-ages club called Splash. It's on 28th Avenue West and Superior Street. But this ain't it.

I eat at Mike's Western Cafe every now and again. Good place. Still exists.

I love these "where is it" posts, by the way.
