Spring Migration Celebration in St. Louis County

Exciting birding activities, engaging presentations, and friendly Birdathon competitions geared for all levels of birders will be held throughout the week.

May 12-17, 2009 | Duluth, MN

Tuesday, May 12 at 6:30 A.M. and Thursday May 14 at 6:30 A.M.

Duluth Audubon guides will lead “Spring Warbler Walks.”

Cost: FREE.

Wednesday, May 13 at 7 P.M.

Pat Thomas will present “Spring Wild/Native Plants and

How they Attract Butterflies and Birds.”

Cost: FREE.

Friday, May 15 at 6:30 P.M.

Join us for an evening kick-of event – includes ice cream social, poster/book signings, and presentation on “Birdathons and Birding Hot Spots in St. Louis County” by Dave Benson and Mike Hendrickson.

Cost: $5/person

Saturday, May 16

Several events will be taking place

“St. Louis County Birdathon” 24-hr event

“Bird Banders Breakfast” 9-11 A.M.

“Boulder Birding Big Day” 7-11:30 A.M.

“Intro to Birding Hikes” 11 A.M.-12 P.M.

to tally up species from events and share good food and stories.
