Choreography by Anna Galikowska-Gajewska PhD, Music Academy Gdansk, Poland. The music is Dinosaur Bones from my 2007 Innova release Analog.

That is very cool, TimK--an amazing dance interpretation of an awesome sound piece. Can you share any back story on how the collaboration came about? Where is the dance troupe based who did this piece? Did the choreographer talk to you about her concept as she was working on it?
Thanks for posting it!
Anna (the choreographer) contacted me early this year — she found my music through some of her friends (I sell a very modest amount of records in Europe). It was difficult for me to decipher her initial inquiries because she never said anything about choreography or dance — instead she kept using the term “eurythmics” to describe her field. Anyway, she choreographed the piece for the resident dance group at the Academy of Music in Gdansk, Poland (where she is a prof) and presented it at some big concert/symposia this summer. I’m tickled with the end result.
Today Poland. Tomorrow….the WORLD! Kudos.
BRAVO! It must be very exciting to see your music interpreted with dance.
It IS exciting. This is the second dance piece to my music. I wrote for a Dances on the Lakewalk piece this summer for Cathy Podeszwa that was also pretty awesome!
And they shall call you Dances with Theremins.
I like that a lot. Congratulations, Tim!
Pretty darn cool, sir.
