Clean Water Act 50th Anniversary Celebration
The Western Lake Superior Sanitary District hosts a family-friendly celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Clean Water Act. Facility tours, games, prizes, snacks and refreshments will be provided. Tour space is limited. Call 218-722-3336 to reserve a spot for the facility tour. Tour participants must be age 5 or older. Courtland Street Block Party
The Western Lake Superior Sanitary District hosts the Courtland Street Block Party as part of Earth Week. The open house event will be held at both the Yard Waste Compost Site and Household Hazardous Waste Facility on Courtland Street in Duluth. WLSSD’s Household Hazardous Waste facility will be hosting a pharmaceuticals and sharps collection during the event.
