Babie Eyes combines classic songwriting with male and female harmony vocals and group improvisation. The band is led by singer-songwriter, Heidi Feroe. The music and message of Babie Eyes is celebratory and often hinged on themes of spiritual renewal which translate into fun and exciting live performances. The band also features singer and songwriter Ian Alexy on bass and vocals, Jacob Mahon of New Salty Dog on organ and vocals, experimental musician Kenny Bressler on synthesizer and drummer Curtis Bellows.

Harnessing high-energy roots music and improvisation, Jeff Ray and the Stakes from Minneapolis released a pandemic-inspired original album IN THE FIRE to rave reviews. Sounding equal parts Ry Cooder, Grateful Dead and RL Burnside, Ray sports a bottleneck glass slide and National resonator guitar. He will be joined by Stake’s bassist Nick Salisbury for a special duo performance.

Long time Range rocker, songwriter, guitar player and band leader Rich Mattson takes the Cedar Lounge stage for a solo set each Wednesday in December. Rumor has it, he might bring special guests each week.

Super-group Ween tribute band Wandering Eye features Marc Gartman from Glitteratti, Alan Sparhawk from Low, Tim Saxhaug form Trampled by Turtles, Dan Anderson from ELnO, and Tyler Dubla on drums.

Earth Rider Brewery wishes everyone a very "Crunchy" New Year at the Cedar Lounge with a free show by The Crunchy Bunch.  The Crunchy Bunch DJ collective spins hip-hop, house, electro and dance remixes at pajama parties, burlesque shows, holiday gatherings and brewery Bingo events all over the Twin Ports. DJs "Privilege" Chris LeBlanc, "Mr. Ness" Alexis LeBlanc, "Hazeltron" Jack Hazelton and "Brano" Dan Branovan bring a sonic celebration to any event.

Duluth-based singer-songwriter Gavin St. Clair writes nostalgic acoustic love songs with elements of Americana and pop mixed in. His band features Alex Piazza on bass, Alex Nelson on keys and Owen Mahon on drums. St. Clair's EP, Rollin it Back, was released on Feb. 4. Babie Eyes starts at 7 p.m. Gavin St. Clair and his Trio start at 8:30 p.m.

Having established himself as an adept slide guitar player, Mike Munson is steeped in the country blues tradition. His original works weave together dark lyrics, impossibly fast-paced finger-picking and grinding rhythms. His sound marks the similarities and highlights the distance between Fred McDowell, Leo Kottke and Chuck Berry.

All the way from California comes Samantha Henson. This is some fresh new music, and the Earth Rider Brewery likes to support live music as much as possible. It's not often musicians passing through all the way from California visit here, and this is some outstanding talent coming to Duluth.

MorningBird is singer-songwriter Rob Wheeler and violinist Jill Burkes — both from the Northern Minnesota area. Burkes and Wheeler harmonize together on classic folk covers and originals. MorningBird recorded their first EP, Cosmic Escape in 2021 and their newest single, Old Missabe Road, was released in Jan. 2023.

Since crossing paths on two separate occasions back in 2017, Emma and Henry have been inseparable. They have spent the past two years playing their fun-loving style of sweet and stompy world music in places like the south of France and in the Alps. With Emma’s beautiful and effortless singing in French, English, Spanish and Italian and Henry’s multi-instrumental one-man music machine, they make quite a pair as Water Cat.

Ruben is a rock ‘n soul band from the St. Croix River Valley town of Stillwater, Minnesota. The band is made up of Daniel Schiltz, Sam Ziemer, Catie Ziemer and Mack Ziemer. In 2021, singer-songwriter Andrew James Spaeth put together a band to record songs he’d been performing as a solo acoustic artist. Mixing swing and jazz into folk-themed stories of love, Skarlett Wood has a stage presence that demands the attention of a room. Taking her listeners on an upbeat rhythmic ride over heart-swelling arrangements of originals and covers, Wood has simply become more comfortable showing herself in the lights. She is currently in the studio set to release a single and is gearing up for an album release in the Fall of 2023.

Twin Ports up and coming musical darling is known for performing a thoughtful array of originals and covers. Ross took a hiatus over the winter of '22-23 to hone in on his craft, write songs and record his first full-length album.

Jesse Eugene is a musician/songwriter from Little Falls, MN. His influences are from blues, country, jam bands and other styles. Jesse plays in a one man band style, using a kick drum and hi-hat, alongside his guitar and harmonica, to create a unique yet full sound.
